Overview

Product Overview
The TELES Announcement Server interfaces with the TELES Media Gateway Controller (MGC) to provide tone-based announcement services to the subscriber. The Server delivers audio announcements over RTP. The announcements are based on the tone parameters provided in the SIP control messages sent by the TELES MGC.

Scalable and Future-proof
The TELES Announcement Server can simultaneously serve multiple MGC’s using standard SIP interfaces. This allows both scalability and quick integration into the existing network. In addition, this enables reliable evolution to Next Generation Networks.

Standard IP-based
The TELES Announcement Server retrieves announcement media content from either a remote file server or from local storage. The announcement content is then streamed to the user over RTP via the underlying IP network.

Enhanced System Management
The TELES Announcement Server includes a browser-based management system. It is provided as part of the TELES MGC Element Management System.
